Welcome to

Isle of Man Breastcare

Providing direct support to the island's breast cancer patients and their families with over 18 years experience.

Our funds go DIRECTLY to patients and their families to help them through difficult times.  Not to be confused with another island breast cancer charity fundraising for a Breast Unit at Noble’s.

We are a Registered Charity  set up by local women who have all experienced breast cancer themselves, providing emotional, practical and financial support to patients, their friends and families through trained counsellors.  We have a positive working relationship with local healthcare providers and represent the concerns and interests of Breast Cancer patients.

IOM Breastcare is 21!

Our little charity is 21 yrs old this year and in the last 7 years alone we have given out over £40,000 in financial assistance to patients and their families. It was often a lifeline to those struggling to make ends meet while undergoing treatments. With sometimes only statutory sick pay to live on, life can be very, very difficult, particularly when children are involved. That’s why, every penny we receive is precious and will enable us to help patients in the years to come.

The Central Marts has come up trumps again with their annual Christmas Raffle. Kenny Sloane, again provided the Turkey and Mr And Mrs John Chadwick provided some dressed ducks. All, as usual, sold many times, and along with a bucket collection, raised a fabulous £477.50 for us. Thank you to everyone concerned for their continued support.

Priceless Pasta!
Alessandra Radcliffe, who works in the Isle of Man Bank in Athol St, Douglas, baked lasagne for her work colleagues and raised £305! I tasted a fabulous birthday cake made by her last weekend, so I’m not surprised she raised so much! Thank you very much.
