LOOK GOOD...FEEL BETTER

The Scholl Centre at Hospice IOM are running a program called ‘Look Good… Feel Better’ and it was launched in May to replace their ‘Radiance’ program. IOM Breast Care helps to fund the program as being diagnosed can be a life changing experience with the added traumas of losing hair, confidence and self esteem.
The program is completely free to women living with cancer. It consists of two weekly sessions covering a 12 step regime of skin care and make-up, a massage session and advice on wigs and scarves are also available . An added bonus for each participant is a goodie bag with almost £200 of skin care products! The beauticians and therapists are all volunteers and the sessions are relaxing and fun.
Anyone who thinks they would benefit from the program can contact me via our web site or Wendy Smith the Scholl Centre manager on 647400, alternatively e-mail admin@hospice.org.im
